I just found egs and will give it a test installation on my systems. I wonder, how the development will be for the future, is there any roadmap (especialy for the calendar)? Concerning Tactile; will egs get substituted by tactile; is it the same (but hosted) product?

Tactile won't substitute EGS, it is a hosted product based on EGS that we are intending to use to help fund further development on EGS (and (most) of the work from Tactile makes it back into EGS).

Tactile is being launched this month and after that we are looking to put out a new EGS release with further information on the website, new ERP and accounts modules and some further work on the calendar (there has already been some stuff done on the calendar in the development version.

I hope this answers your questions - also what sort of things are you looking for from the calendar?

I managed now to install a egs2 in an mamp environment. a bit tricky. (it only works when it is put in the http root directory)

concerning the calendar you ask for. I am interessted in an shareable calendar with normal features for activities, events, todos. AND best a syncronisation with iCal.

With my first walkthrough egs2 I have some problems. I cant make new companys or users. also I cant make new projects (only a blank screen after submit).

What is All System Companies and All User Company Access for.

And is it possible to im-/export contacts?
